These reforms apply to workers covered under the NSW Workers Compensation Acts. They do not apply to:
- Exempt workers (police officers, paramedics, firefighters)
- Coal miners
- Volunteers
Practitioners managing claims in these sectors must refer to the relevant exempt worker provisions.
